behind the project
“dar con la tecla” is a comedy short film in the spirit of the sketches we used to make when lag. was a youtube channel built around experimentation.
three friends reunite and discover that they’ve taken very different paths. some have stayed true to the principles they once shared, while others have taken shortcuts that compromise everything the three of them once believed in.
lag. began as a project between friends, playing around with comedy, post-production, and storytelling on youtube, back when the platform was still in its early days. over time, we grew into the agency and production company we are today, which has left us with less time to make sketches, but we never lost the desire to do it.
this short film has been a kind of return to the ring. It brought together the people who started the project, along with many of the people who have joined us along the way, and gave us the chance to go back to making something just for the sake of making it.
“dar con la tecla” is currently being selected for national short film festivals. it’s been especially rewarding to hear from people who watched our videos back then and have reached out to tell us they’re glad to see us making this kind of work again.
